Software Engineer

ProductRemote (US)Full-time$130,000 - $175,000 + equity

Mederi Sentinel is an always-on website risk and growth intelligence product for independent healthcare practices. We scan public websites for accessibility, privacy-risk, speed, findability, and trust signals, then turn the findings into a ranked, plain-English plan.

As an early software engineer, you will own features end to end across our Next.js and TypeScript stack, from the scanning pipeline to the dashboards practices live in every day. You will work closely with product and design in a small, high-trust team where your decisions ship.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and ship features across the full stack (Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres).
  • Extend our scanning and reporting pipeline and the dashboards that surface findings.
  • Write clean, well-tested code and thoughtful reviews that raise the bar for the team.
  • Partner with product and design to turn fuzzy problems into shipped, measurable improvements.
  • Care about performance, accessibility, and security, because we hold our own product to the standard we sell.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years building and shipping production web applications.
  • Strong TypeScript and React experience; comfort across the stack, not just the UI.
  • Experience with a relational database and designing pragmatic data models.
  • A bias for shipping, and the judgment to know when to go fast vs. get it right.
  • Clear written communication in a remote, async-friendly team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Next.js App Router, Supabase, or serverless/worker architectures.
  • Background in healthcare, security, accessibility, or web performance.
  • Experience at an early-stage startup.
