Comments let you and your team talk about what you are seeing, right where you are seeing it. Instead of copying a screenshot into an email, you leave a note directly on the page, replay, finding, or recommendation you are looking at, and it stays with that item for everyone to see.

Where you can comment

You can leave a comment in the places where decisions get made:

  • On a page you are reviewing.

  • On a session replay, at the exact moment worth discussing.

  • On an accessibility or privacy finding.

  • On a recommendation.

Leaving a comment

  1. Open the item you want to discuss.

  2. Open its comments and type your note.

  3. Post it. Your comment stays attached to that item, in order, so the whole thread is easy to follow later.

Loop in a teammate

Type the @ symbol and pick a teammate to mention them in your comment. They get an email letting them know, and an unread badge points them to what is new, so nothing gets lost.

Comments are for your team. Keep patient information out of them, the same way you would with any shared note.

Keeping track

All of your team's notes are gathered in one place on the Notes screen, so you can see everything that has been flagged across your website without hunting through each screen. Unread badges make it easy to catch up on what changed since you were last in.
